The Restoration of The Chandi Sewu Complex
Chandi Sewu is a buddhist temple complex, and around this complex in the Prambanan area, there are more other temples of different size, shapes and looks. Which could mean that the village of Pramabanan might have been an important capital, or even a great kingdom, in that part of the island of Java.
When these temples were found, people from all over Java were filled with joy, because remain of past had been discovered. Their feelings are common to all, when an object of great antiquity was found, man is happy, because he will know his past, his history, his ancestors life, way of living and religious belief. And many were surprised, because in an Islam dominated nation like Indonesia, Buddhist and Civalstic temples were found. And they want to know why.
